Gambling vs Investing

Both the gambler and investor want to win. The difference? The investor has a plan to win, the gambler does not have a plan. The gambler bets on anything that he thinks he can win, while the investor will only invest in specifically on what he has done research on.

So where is the danger for the investor? When things start to go wrong, do you stick to the plan? Or do you start to gamble? In the age of margin investing or gambling on credit, it is easy to run out of control. Gambling websites or online brokers have so many "fun" options to choose from.
