Basic Guide to using Statistics we provide

Currently we have found 3 types of statistics useful for analyzing goals.

1. Scoring Minutes Chart
2. Top Goal Scorers
3. Goals Frequency Table

Scoring Minutes Chart
The scoring minutes chart can be easily obtained from www.soccerway.com by clicking on the match and then clicking statistics. How does this statistic help you?

As this statistic tells us when teams prefer to score goals, this is an indication of when is the most optimum time to place a bet, if there is an anticipation of a goal.

Consider this scenario that you expect Utrecht to score, the 80 - 90 minute time frame is the most optimum timing where the odds will typically be over 0.5 ball. Returns will be full while potential losses are only at 70%. With such excellent risk and returns, this statistic can help you to make the right investment at the correct timing.

In investment, timing is everything!!!

Top Goal Scorers
The top goal scorers is a statistic that we consider crucial to score goals. You need to find out the top scorers on each team (Soccerway.com provides this statistic on the statistic page too) and then compare against the in-game lineups.

Sometimes a team may control the game, create many chances, but still unable to score goals. Thus we deduce that no matter how offensive a team is, without players who can consistently put goals in the net, the % of scoring goals as a team will also be reduced. For example, opponent teams will play differently when they know the top threat is not playing.

A true football analyst must also consider whether goal scorers are in form or playing well in the game. Experience will help to recognize the characteristics of goal scorers. Some strikers will do nothing in the whole game, and appear out of nowhere score the match winning goal.

Goals Frequency Table
Goals Frequency Table analyzes how frequent are there goals in a game. The statistics are separated into 3 sections: 1st Half, 2nd Half and Overall Game. Boxes that are highlighted in yellow indicates the highest frequency of each section.

This week we have also added a new column which is bordered in blue. The "Scoring" column is the statistic for how many goals a team scores in the targeted section. For example, 46.15% of the time, Utrecht scores 0 goals in the 2nd half.

So how do we use these statistics? Using these records, you can identify how often a team scores and concede. This knowledge will help you to know which bet to place.

Combining the Goals Frequency TableScoring Minutes Chart and Top Goal Scorers statistics, you should be able to answer these 3 questions: 1) Should I bet? 2) What should I bet? 3) When to bet?
